It's our anniversary today*, and I'm feeling mellow and sentimental after a fantastic dinner (so mellow that I forgot the cut).

This is A's favourite photo of us, I think, probably because he looks so gorgeous in it. Arvikafestivalen, 2003 or thereabouts.

February 2002, a mere four months after we became a couple. I look like such a baby here, and A was so skinny I can hardly believe it when I look at these old photos.

The first and most recent one is dated December 15th 2007, by the way.

*Technically yesterday, since it was after midnight.

Thank you! Yeah, I'm glad we made it this far - in all honesty, I wasn't so sure we would only a month or two ago. I hope we're in for another seven years, at least.

2 m, exactly. I'm pretty short, so he looks taller next to me, and the skinniness really emphasized how tall he is when he was younger - he has grown a pair of shoulders and is both much more muscular and much less emaciated these days.

I see. I took some pictures of the caps I want to make, alas I did something with my camera cable and can't find it to upload them...

Sounds good! Things tend to turn up sooner or later.

Thanks, I really like that picture! Yes, we had a good one - we went to an Italian restaurant that we've been wanting to visit for a while, called Döden I Grytan, which translates to Death In The Pot and is originally a Bible quote, apparently. Rumour has it that the owner wanted to call it När Lammen Tystnar, Silence of the Lambs, but his family vetoed that suggestion. Anyway, they do the heavy, meaty, traditional and rustic kind of Italian food (I don't think I've ever seen as much pancetta on one plate as there was in my yummy, savoury bucatini all'Amatriciana), they do it extremely well and we had a fantastic dinner.

Sounds great! haha, these both names are great!! I love Italian food but still haven't found a really good Italian restaurant in Krakow, even though there's so many restaurants here. Must do some more research ;)

This is the cap. I'b love it in leather, or
maybe black moleskin. the wool is just too hot to wear in clubs.

Oh! That I could do. Either or would work - leather might look more interesting, but moleskin would be cooler to wear. How does it look on the inside?
